Stands Tall Creations Woodcarving Studio and Gallery is an artist owned and operated business on Bowen Island in British Columbia. With a gallery setting in the front of the building and an actual working studio at the rear, Stands Tall Creations is owned and operated by Shane Tweten who is an artist committed to working for artists and showcasing amazing contemporary and traditional works from many talented, local B.C. artists. While the art process is sometimes very fulfilling, the marketing and ‘starving artist syndrome’ is not so fulfilling. Stands Tall Creations recognizes this fact, and offers a 35% commission charge to artists instead of the standard 40%-60% commission, in which these savings are then passed to the consumer. Bowen Island is located twenty five minutes from downtown Vancouver and a beautiful 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay….
