Make Ready Coordinator
The U.S. Mission to Nigeria comprises of the Embassy in Abuja, FCT, and the Consulate General in Lagos. U.S. Consulate General Lagos is the Mission’s representative to the Nigerian people in the southern region.

- Basic Function of the Position – Incumbent overseas the preparation of leased residential units for occupancy for all Mission agencies.
- S/he works closely with the General Service Office, Facilities Maintenance sections, and the RSO Office to coordinate the preparation of housing units for personnel assigned to post.
- Incumbent inspects employees Housing before employees depart post for damages to government provided furniture, furnishing, appliances, and equipment. Additionally, s/he ensures that the contractors performs the work according to the standards set up.
- Completion of Secondary School or high Diploma Certificate is required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of responsible administrative and/or building trades experience is required
- Job Knowledge: Must be familiar with U.S. Government administrative procedures.
- This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language stated.
- Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English is required.
- Ability to manage projects, plan meetings, provide good customer-service and good attention to detail is required.
- Ability to tactfully interact in person, by email, and by phone with mid-level skills in MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Must be able to drive Government Owned Vehicle (GOV).
