- Daystar Power Group is looking to engage a competent and experienced Data Warehouse Developer with a track record in developing hands-on database systems and technical solutions.
- He/She must possess strong logical reasoning skills for improving systems designs, including architecting and developing a Data warehouse and processes for gathering data from all the sources, internal and external, overseeing the full life cycle of back-end development of the business data warehouse and conduct trainings for company and IT staff.

Design and implement data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet business analysis and reporting needs.
Design, develop, and support new ETL processes employing industry standards and best practices to enhance loading of data from and into different source/ target systems.
Design and implement data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet business analysis and reporting needs
Document technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensuring optimal technical infrastructure is utilized.
Design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business’s data warehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
Improve data organization and accuracy by monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues on data warehouse servers and assisting in the development of business intelligence, business data standards, and processes.
Guide the business in identifying any new data needs and deliver mechanisms for acquiring and reporting such information as well as addressing the actual needs.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Analytical related field, including Information Technology, Computer Science, and Engineering discipline.
Experience: 2 years or more experience performing data warehouse architecture development and management.
Competency and Skills Requirements:
Experience with technologies such as SQL Server 2008, as well as with newer ones like SSIS and stored procedures.
Experience developing codes, testing for quality assurance, and monitoring of database.
High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques and their applications.
Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills; as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS computing platforms is a plus
Experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift or similar is a plus.
