Job Description:
  • The Head, Solution Delivery shall lead the solution delivery team using best practice processes, tools and knowledge to rapidly and successfully deploy the company’s products and solutions for its customers.
  • This individual must have the passion and energy to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
  • As the Head, Solution Delivery shall demonstrate the maturity, confidence and experience to manage and partner with customers as well as demonstrate the willingness, energy and capability to build strong internal and external relationships, advise customers on delivery strategies, and lead the solution delivery team to continuously deliver successful customer projects.
Job Responsibilities:

Ensure and oversee accurate requirements elicitation and scope documentation for every implementation, maintaining a strong focus on delivery priorities, holding others to account for delivery, and swiftly responding to changing requirements.
Ensure successful project delivery from “initiation” to “closure” using company-defined processes and PM tools to support the delivery of customer-centred solutions and stay abreast with the progress and performance of all customer projects.
Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating promptly and effectively with all customers including internal management, executives of customer organizations (banks, and merchants) as well as partners and 3rd party vendors on technical and commercial topics, project progress and escalations.
Responsible for quality of solutions delivered while ensuring that appropriate processes and standards are adhered to, including data protection and regulatory compliance such as customer due diligence.
Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, and recommend appropriate mitigants or action.
Collaborate closely with product management, software development, quality assurance, and operations teams, partners, as well as 3rd party suppliers/vendors to implement customer solutions.
Contribute to the maturity of the company’s products by documenting and providing a heat map of product gaps or features identified.
Build knowledge, capacity and capability within the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and helping team members to grow professionally.
Create and maintain a professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and focus on delivering excellence, quality and value for the customer and business.
Ensure up-to-date project documentation and maintenance of all project artefacts etc.
Facilitate project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (senior management, business users, technical staff and customers) as may be required.
Gather and report detailed performance data against key indicators, to generate actionable improvements, decisions and project success.
Take up any assignment as may be required by the CPO.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical / management course
6 to 10 years of hands-on business analysis, software systems implementation, and solid project management experience
Excellent understanding of Project Management and Business Analysis methodologies
Project Management (PMI/Prince 2) and/or Business Analysis (IIBA) Certification.

Skills:

Demonstrated ability to define, estimate, plan, manage and deliver technology projects and experience with both Agile or Waterfall project management environments and tools.
Demonstrated leadership capability with high emotional intelligence to manage subordinates as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstration of business acumen, and outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills; must be customer-focused and results-oriented.
Knowledge and experience in payment and enterprise software solutions development, implementation, testing and release practices.
Proven ability to present technical solutions effectively to diverse stakeholder groups as well as lead client training, testing and knowledge transfer sessions both remotely and on-site.
A sense of urgency and ability to proactively manage risk and stay one step ahead of any challenges.
Experience working with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base.
Ability to multitask and deal with ambiguity.
