Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality standards.
- Developing and implementing quality control systems.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
- Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
- Reviewing documents and ensure it comforms to clients standard
- Organize steel structural activities of delivery, erection, and site modification
- Organize above/underground piping site activities including painting, wrapping, coating, fabrication, welding, erection
- Provide technical reports and assist and preparing management reports
- Checks all project drawings, documentation, calculations, technical evaluations and manpower estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in regular meetings to identify problems, target dates, issues, delays execution of work to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare, develop and maintain up to date quality procedures, documents and method of statement given to client/main contractor.
- Prepare PQR (Procedure Qualification for WPS), qualify welders and prepare welder qualifications and welders ID.
- Review of associated quality control documentation to ensure that equipment and materials are manufactured in accordance with applicable codes, client and project specifications and standards.
- Supervise field inspection activities of manufacturing site construction, welding, NDT examinations and pressure testing and prepare daily inspection reports.
- Prepare Final QA/ QC dossier to submit to the client.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Engineering with 4 – 11 years work experience.
