Job Description:
The ideal candidate will perform research, collect and analyse information and use the data to problem solve and improve decision-making and efficiency of a business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse past operations and sales’ results and perform variance analyses
- Gather data from a wide variety of sources and use statistical methodologies/ tools to interpret this information
- Develop and conduct user surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
- Research market and industry trends and patterns
- Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
- Identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, quantitative reporting, research, and statistical analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and other decision-makers
- Recommend changes and improvements based on research findings.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
- Two years’ experience in an applied research environment in key industries such as consulting, real estate and hospitality, financial services, etc.
- Experience in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research
- Experience in manipulating large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (SPSS, SAS, Excel, Power BI, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with CRM programs.

- Ability to prepare extensive reports and present findings to companies with clear and concise action advice
- Ability to recognize patterns to find useful information in the data that is sometimes unstructured
- Research, fact-checking and validation skills to ensure valid data sources and verify accuracy
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of business visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau as well as statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar)
- Excellent grasp of MS Office Suite.
