Job Responsibilities:
  • The primary job responsibility is to find and assess a business opportunity in his assigned territory for information-technology sales.
  • Whether it is seeking leads in new markets or existing markets, the business development specialist must be able to convince a potential client of the advantages of implementing an IT solution to help improve business.
  • Often, the main selling point is trying to showcase how technology can help a customer cut costs and improve the bottom line.
  • A business-development specialist must thoroughly learn the marketplace and trends, so as to fine tune and adapt to the ever-changing information-technology business.
  • The sales aspect necessitates networking, attending trade events and conferences.
  • Business Development Manager position focused on account development and sales to key OEM customers within identified strategic markets
  • Increase revenue for the company by researching, identifying and developing new accounts within identified strategic markets.
  • Identify key contacts and decision makers within organizations.
  • Conduct cold-calling campaigns to promote company’s products and build an opportunity pipeline.
  • Manage customer relationships through the entire sales cycle: initial contact, account development, promotion of products and services, evaluation of products and product acceptance.
  • Provide important market and customer feedback to ICT for product improvements and new product development.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to internal ICT personnel regarding new and existing sales opportunities, customer feedback and new product requirements.
  • Create quotations and technical proposals for customers.
  • Maintain a sales forecast and accurate opportunity funnel.
Job Requirements:
  • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND qualification
  • 4 – 5 years of work experience
